Privacy Policy

Shadowrocket Rules is the official Shadowrocket website and manual. This policy covers browsing and interacting with pages on this site, including data involved in site visits and how it is used. Data handling within the app and Apple’s purchase process are outside the scope of this site’s data processing.

1. Scope and Information Boundaries

This site provides static pages for verifying the official app, purchase information, and setup guides. It does not offer account registration or email submission. You can read the content without providing your name, phone number, payment details, or Apple Account credentials.

This site does not provide node services, or offer, sell, or recommend nodes or subscriptions. A one-time app purchase is not a service plan. Guides assume you already have your own subscription or server details; configure them in the app and do not submit them to this site.

2. Visit Data and Analytics

When your browser requests a page, the server hosting this site may log the request time, page path, response status, IP address, and browser request details. These technical logs are used to deliver pages, diagnose access errors, and maintain the site. They are not used to read files on your device or app configurations.

This site uses analytics to understand page visits and reading paths, and logs actions such as clicking the App Store link. Analytics may include the referring page, device category, browser type, and page interactions. This helps us assess whether information is easy to find, identify broken links, and improve the site structure. Click events do not include purchase outcomes and do not indicate that a purchase was completed.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

Your browser may use cookies or local storage to retain analytics identifiers or page preferences. The specific data stored depends on the analytics settings in use and the page features. URL fragments may also restore your reading position or selected tab; a URL fragment is not itself a cookie.

You can view, restrict, or clear this site’s stored data in your browser’s site settings. After clearing it, you may need to set some preferences again, and analytics may no longer recognize visits as part of the same session. Changing browser storage settings does not delete visit records already held by the server.

4. App Store Links

Shadowrocket is available only on Apple platforms, and the App Store product page is the only way to get it. The page is operated by Apple; the developer is Shadow Launch Technology Limited, and the app ID is 932747118.

Once you visit the App Store, account sign-in, payment, purchase history, and related data handling are governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policy. This site does not collect payment credentials or have access to purchase history. Check the App Store page for pricing, system requirements, and Family Sharing availability.

5. Data Protection and Your Choices

Technical logs and analytics data should be used for site maintenance and content improvements, and retained only as long as necessary for those purposes. Network transmission and browser environments carry risks. Do not include passwords, subscription credentials, or other sensitive information in page URLs, search queries, or feedback.

To troubleshoot app issues, first read the quick start and troubleshooting guide and check your settings step by step. When describing a problem, include only the details needed. If you share a screenshot, first obscure account information, server credentials, and anything that could identify you.

6. Policy Updates

This policy may be revised when data handling practices, page features, or applicable requirements change. The complete updated policy will be published on this page, and the last-updated month at the top will be changed. Important changes to the purposes or scope of data processing will be explained on the relevant pages.

Refer to the policy currently published on this page. For questions about where to find information or how to follow the steps, see the relevant section in the quick start guide. This policy does not replace privacy information shown in the app or on the App Store.
